    Nicole will take you through the basics of quilting as well as introduce you to a modern quilt block; basic rotary cutting, piecing, basic machine quilting and binding will also be covered.

    Paulette will introduce you to the currently popular Scrappy Trip quilt. Spend a day sewing strips together to make this popular and versatile design. These easily sewn quilts twinkle as the diagonals twist and turn. Basic construction tips will be shared along with several design options, making your quilt unique. You will only be sewing strips of fabric; no cutting of individual squares is required. Come spend the day sewing these easy blocks. You will go home with several finished blocks and well on your way to a new quilt. Paulette will share her tips and several design options. Construction uses 2 ½” by 16” strips. Dig into your scraps, fat quarters, left over binding, or yardage to collect strips for the day.
